Intermediate Bulk Packaging- containers, composite containers and ALPAL.

Composite IBC containers :

For solids requiring UN Group 1 Packaging. Made from predominantly flexible materials, High Density PVC and Polypropylene with rigid parts built in. Outer package comprises a woven Polypropylene casing, plastic sheet inserts for puncture resistance and a demountable steel frame. The inner package is a woven Polypropylene casing with top filing spout and tie closure. An LDPE liner bag is positioned between the outer and inner casing. This is heat sealed after the pack is filled. A cap of woven Polypropylene is placed over the top. The pack is placed and strapped onto a standard export pallet for transport. The inner casing is withdrawn from the outer casing prior to discharge.

ALPAL TM:

The Alpal container provides a total warehouse solution by combining the features of pallets, IBCs and Flexible IBCs into one of the most flexible semi bulk systems available.

The strong but light units can be stacked 8 high when loaded. The Alpal is designed to accommodate a broad spectrum of bulk packaging ranging from liquids and fresh produce to all powder an granular products.

The Alpal is highly durable food grade plastic that is recyclable and an array of strong steel tubes. The need for flexibility in applications led to development of emptying options - Bottom side, tipping , siphoning, center bottom discharge.

The outer casing is double sided and made from 290gsm woven Polypropylene. It has a tamper evident closure and is ideal for the transport of a wide variety of liquids. An aseptic liner is available for the transport of foodstuffs.The Nautilus® Folda-Bin can be manufactured to suit specific applications.

Inner and Outer Seam FIBCs, Porta Sack and Square Pack

Inner Seam FIBCs :

In-Seam style FIBCs incorporates a combination of using dense weave bands in flat woven four panel style bags with an over-lock webbing sewing process to produce a low cost, high strength bulk bag for customers who require a single and multi trip unit for medium weight range applications. The lift webbing is integrated inside the bag which reduces exposure to mechanical damage.

Outer Seam FIBCs :

Outer-Seam style FIBCs incorporates a combination of using dense weave bands in Flat woven 4 panel style bags with an over-lock webbing sewing process to produce a low cost, very high strength bulk package for customers who require a single and multi trip, unit for heavy weight range applications. Outer-Seam bags are designed to be used for Safe Working Loads of 2000kg and less.

Porta Sack :

Port-A-Sack style FIBCs are single or double lift point bags, using the body fabric of the bag as the mode of lift. Port-A-Sack bags have found enormous popularity as an economical method of Semi-Bulk packaging of low cost commodity products such as Cement, Fertilizer and Salt where single trip cycles or Break-Bulk shipments without containers are demanded. These bags are designed for centre point lift which makes this product user friendly to the farmer with front end loaders and for stevedoring companies wishing to load several units at a time into ship holds.

Square Pack :

Square-Pak style FIBCs are manufactured to stay square after filling for maximum use of shipping container and storage space. Bags are fitted with four corner lift loops and are designed for lifting with a forklift either by the lift loops or on pallets. These bags are ideal for products with low packing density of less than 800kg per cubic metre. Square-Pak bags are manufactured using high quality woven polypropylene available in either plain or coated fabric. The fabric is UV Stabilised, is inert to most chemicals and is recyclable.

AntiStatic FIBCs, Gambo, High Density PVC and Atlas

Anti Static FIBCs :

Anti-Static style FIBCs incorporates a unique semi conductive fibre yarn in the fabric construction which promotes continual ionisation over the fabric called Corona Discharge. This prevents electrostatic charges large enough to cause a spark from accumulating on the surface of the bag.

Corona Discharge means the Anti-Static bag does not need to be earthed to be effective, thus eliminating the potential hazard of accidental non-grounding. The semi conductive fibre yarn used in the Anti-Static bag is very durable, is non metallic and will not break easily or lose conductivity when stretched. The fabric is UV Stabilised, is inert to most chemicals.

Gambo

A Gambo FIBC maintains its square or rectangular shape after filling, making the most efficient possible use of storage space. Due to the unique construction of the Gambo FIBC it is extremely stable when used with an enormous range of dry powdered or granular product.

High Density PVC :

Stitched or Fully Welded Bulker® bag style FIBCs are premium long life bags designed using all the flexibility and strength of Polyester reinforced double coated High Density PVC, incorporating strong Polyester seat belt webbing (8 per bag) to ensure safe lifting and handling and storage time after time. Unlike lightweight FIBCs, long life Bulker® bags can be repaired when damaged and reused.Stitched Bulker® bags are designed for lifting using strong metal triangles at the end of each loop in conjunction with customers lifting chains or cables which makes this product user friendly to the building industry when using and storing dry cement in high rise projects.

Atlas TM :

Atlas is held in shape by an ingenious series of exterior reinforced “ribs” keeping the bag square and strong . When stacking bags on top of each other the ribs support the weight of the upper bags, instead of the weight being borne by the lower bag itself. These features let you pack liquids or granules in your Atlas up to four high, without the risk of breakage or instability.
